Let's talk about lift. 

You come in with a clean face. No make up, especially around the eyes and certainly no mascara. Jess cleans your lashes, because even if you thought they were clean, they probably weren't. She's gently removed any liner or mascara build up so the lifting solution works. 

Why microblading? 

The short of it: Life is too short to fill in your brows every morning and hope they don't wash away if you go swimming.

Seriously though, microblading is a great option if you have sparse brows, uneven brows, a random bald spot or you just really want brows to perfectly frame your beautiful little face.

My very first appearance at Miss North Carolina US International was at 24 Hours of Booty, in Charlotte, North Carolina. That afternoon, a HUGE storm blew through leaving us with some drizzle and lots of humidity. While it was a great event, I left looking way less than regal and realized that something had to change. 

That morning, I'd showered and straightened my air-dried hair with no product and went off to work.  When I got home that night, I was seriously regretting it! Worst hair day ever, anyone??

The last week of September saw higher heels, shorter hemlines and lots of fashion. I was honored to attend the Charlotte Fashion Week VIP Kickoff party on Tuesday, September 26 at The VUE in Uptown Charlotte. Lots of fabulous sponsors and time to mix and mingle with some of the best photographers and designers in Charlotte! 

Call me crazy, but when you get a great glam squad together, you hold onto them tight. For me, its so important to have strong women, who support strong women, as part of my beauty regiment. I want them to recommend products at a variety of price points because they work, even if they come from a drugstore.

I'm honored to serve as the Philanthropy Chair for the Alpha Gamma Delta Charlotte Alumnae Chapter. This weekend, we volunteered at Second Harvest of Metrolina, a Feeding America partner. We got a short and sweet training from Anthony, and then we started our assignment for the day - sorting through food and non-food donations in the warehouse.
